What this domain covers
A personal record of the path from engineering practice to global execution — the ventures built, the assumptions that turned out to be wrong, and the lessons that only arrive after a system meets the world it was designed for.
The essays here are written for anyone attempting the same transition: from building things, to building the organisations that build things, to building the institutions that outlast both. Each stage changed the unit of work and the definition of a good day.
They are deliberately specific about mistakes. Accounts of this kind are only useful when they include the parts that did not work.
Topics inside this page

All topics above are covered within this domain page — they are not separate pages.
Engineering rewards speed and certainty. Institution building rewards neither. Learning to operate on both clocks at once was the hardest transition of my working life. Anubhav Sachar

Writing in My Journey
From Engineering Precision to Institutional Patience
Engineering rewards speed and certainty; institution building rewards neither. On learning to hold both standards at once without abandoning either.
Building Two Ventures in Parallel — and Why They Needed Each Other
World Accelerator and Global Development 50 were designed as one system with two halves. The reasoning behind the split, and what it cost to run both at once.
The Next Decade: What I Intend to Build
A plain statement of direction — the problems that justify a decade of attention, and the standard I would like this work measured against.
